Journey Day by Day

Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Mavrovo

Arrival at Skopje Airport, transfer to Galichnik (1.5h). Optional sightseeing tour in Skopje. Overnight stay in a mountain hotel.

Day 2 – Hike to Medenica Peak (2163 m)

• Trail: Galichnik (1560 m) to Medenica Peak
• Distance: 10 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs | Elevation gain: 603 m

After hiking, drive to Ohrid with a stop at St. John the Baptist Monastery. Overnight in Ohrid.

Day 3 – Jablanica Mountain / Crn Kamen (2257 m)

• Trail: Border hike on Jablanica
• Distance: 12 km | Duration: 5–6 hrs | Elevation: 837 m

Return to your hotel in Ohrid.

Day 4 – Rest Day in Ohrid

Options include boat trips, kayaking, old town tour, or lakefront dining. Relax and enjoy the charm of Ohrid.

Day 5 – Magaro Peak (2255 m), Galichica National Park

• Trail: From 1600 m to Magaro Peak
• Distance: 8.5 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs | Elevation: 700 m

Panoramic views of Lake Ohrid and Prespa. Optional lake swim after the hike.

Day 6 – Vrteska Peak (2010 m), Pelister National Park

• Trail: Maloviste → Sv. Ana → Vrteska Peak
• Distance: 12 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs | Elevation: 870 m

Enjoy traditional lunch and visit Bitola’s historic sites. Overnight in Bitola.

Day 7 – Big Lake (2218 m), Pelister NP

• Distance: 12 km | Duration: 6–7 hrs | Elevation: 1048 m

Hike to the alpine lake and descend to Nize Pole. Transfer to Skopje (2h). Overnight in Skopje.

Day 8 – Departure

Transfer to Skopje Airport.
