Ski Touring Areas

Shar Mountain: Kosovo and North Macedonia

Shar Mountain offers some of the best ski touring terrain in the Balkans. On the Kosovo side, we explore areas around Prevala, Brezovica and Dragash. On the Macedonian side, Popova Shapka gives access to wide alpine slopes, high ridges and excellent descents.

With the support of a snowcat when conditions allow, we can reach higher zones including Tito's Peak and the Leshnica Valley, helping us make the most of the best snow conditions.

Korab Mountain

Korab Mountain is one of the most remote alpine regions in North Macedonia. The area around Kepi Bard, 2,638 meters, offers untouched valleys, wild terrain and a true backcountry atmosphere.

This part of the tour is perfect for skiers who enjoy quiet mountains, long approaches and a strong sense of wilderness.

Cultural Adventure

This ski touring adventure also offers an opportunity to connect with local culture. Along the way, you can visit traditional mountain villages, taste local food and wine, and learn about the history of the Balkans from your local guides.
